Samuel Afari-Aikins is a Client Advisor at Daintree Advisors, joining the firm in January of 2013. Sam works with clients to help them develop and define their goals and provides objective, comprehensive financial planning and investment management guidance.
Prior to joining Daintree, Sam worked as the Group Financial Controller of The Works Media Group, a London-based independent film production and distribution company. Prior to The Works Media Group, Sam worked as a Corporate Resource Officer at the United Kingdom Department of Health. Sam began his career as a Sales Representative of Guinness Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of Guinness Brewing Worldwide in Ghana, West Africa, before relocating to England to study.
Sam earned a Master of Science in Taxation with Distinction and a Graduate Certificate of Financial Planning from Bentley University. He earned a B.A. degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of East London in England. Sam is a Chartered Management Accountant (UK), Chartered Global Management Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.
Sam is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and serves on the Inclusion and Diversity Committee. He lives in Dedham with his wife and their three young children. He enjoys reading, coaching soccer, and learning new languages.
