Alexander J. Gross is a Managing Director at Daintree Advisors, joining the firm in December 2011. In his role as a Senior Client Advisor, Alex provides holistic financial planning to clients in the context of their investment management, estate and income tax planning, philanthropy, insurance, and cash flow management.
Prior to joining Daintree Advisors, Alex was an Associate Director of Client Management at Wells Fargo Family Wealth (and its predecessors Wachovia and Tanager Financial Services). Before Wells Fargo, Alex provided financial and tax planning services at Arthur Andersen LLP.
Alex earned a B.A. in Financial Accounting from Bryant University, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. Alex subsequently completed a Masters in Taxation and Master Personal Financial Planner Certificate at Bentley University. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a Personal Financial Specialist designation, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. In 2019, Alex received the Accredited Estate Planner® designation from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils.
Alex is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and serves on the Board of Directors of the Maynard Youth Soccer Association. He was named a Five Star Wealth Manager as featured in Boston Magazine for 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Alex lives in Maynard with his wife Michel and their young sons Evan and Justin. Alex and Michel are avid travelers, and have wonderful memories of stops in the Hawaiian Islands, St. Lucia, and Machu Picchu in Peru.
